File a DisputeProject Rescue is a dedicated status on your PayBild project. It is never a fresh re-post - the original Project Card reopens with a Project Rescue badge so that new verified Pros can see the full history and submit proposals to complete the remaining work.
The original escrow stays in place. The Rescue Pro steps in at the current milestone position. The job continues - it doesn't start over.
Project Rescue is triggered through the dispute process. Either the homeowner or the Pro can file to initiate Stage 1. A Dispute Resolution Coordinator can also designate a project as Rescue at any stage as the case progresses.
Stepping in to rescue a stalled project is one of the most valuable things a Pro can do on PayBild. Every Pro who completes a Project Rescue earns a 5-star bonus rating from PayBild - separate from the homeowner rating and publicly visible on their profile.
Rescue completions are permanently displayed on the Pro's profile as a badge of trust.
Rescue projects appear in the Pro inbox with a Project Rescue badge. You can review the full project history, remaining milestones, and escrow amount before submitting a proposal. You are stepping into a real project - not a fresh lead.
